Clik here to view.SignalFire Wireless Telemetry offers the SignalFire Remote Sensing System (SFRSS) for wireless remote management of assets in challenging outdoor environments such as those found in oil and gas, agriculture, forestry, water systems and the public infrastructure.
At the heart of the SFRSS is a gateway and remote transceiver nodes that interface with sensors, giving asset managers access to valuable field data to control devices such as pumps, valves, fans, and lighting. The industrial transceiver nodes provide powerful, long-range transmission of data in the unlicensed ISM bands that sustains signal strength through terrain, structures, or weather. A unique patent-pending, two-way mesh technology provides the power and stability needed for reliable data transfer over long node-to-node distances, making the SFRSS ideal for applications with many assets widely dispersed (up to 4 miles point-to-point). Two-way message forwarding enables customers to both monitor and control their assets.
An open architecture allows users to integrate many types of sensors to monitor assets. Users can choose the best sensor for each application and the Signal Remote Sensing System integrates them into a single network. The transceiver nodes commonly work with:
• Guided Wave Radar Tank Level Sensors (Analog, HART, Modbus)
• Pressure Sensors and Transmitters (Analog, HART, Modbus)
• Level Switches (Analog, Digital Out)
• Flowmeters (Digital (counts), Modbus)
• Valves and Motor Controllers (Digital I/O)
Data gathered from the nodes is transmitted to a gateway using the most direct path. Robust gateways accommodate up to 10,000 transceiver nodes, enabling the network to cover a geographic range of hundreds of square miles. Linked to the Internet and back-end servers, the Gateways bring data to your PC in various formats. A secure Web portal and customizable interface enable network managers to access and control their assets from anywhere in the world.
